Elf for Health Week 2 Recap

I hope y'all had a marvelous weekend! I spent the time home with my family in Indiana, it was quite marvelous in several ways, but especially marvelous because there were so many fluffs!

My family's ultra-mom cat had her umpteenth litter a couple months ago and as a favor for a friend I held a flufftastic photo shoot so she could see which one she might like to take home. They're all precious but I think she's going with the gray tabby. Of course, I had to include my family's two doggies in the shoot, they love the kittens too!
As for how Week 2 of Elf for Health went...
Monday: Send a handwritten note.
My friend is currently in law school part-time while also holding down a part-time legal job. Basically, she studies ALL. THE. TIME. So of course, she received my piece of handwritten postcard love after a 5-hour long evening study session. It felt good knowing that I gave her a little smile in her studying-exhaustion state :)
Tuesday: Eat the rainbow.
My day of food started out with a colorful breakfast and good intentions, but turned quite monochromatic as the cold weather led me to seek out some of my favorite comfort foods... i.e., alfredo pasta and thanksgiving leftovers.
 Wednesday: Go makeup free today.
This task terrified me slightly, but it wasn't so bad! Plus, I reclaimed another 10 minutes of sleep so I was quite a happy makeup-less camper on Wednesday.

Thursday: Workout with a buddy.
The boyfriend and I intended to smash out a few games of racquetball and call it a day, but alas, a networking event kept him busy and I couldn't find another workout buddy at the last minute.

Friday: Leave an Operation Beautiful note.
Operation Beautiful notes are something I've loved for a long time, but never knew that there was a name for them. I've never found one myself, but I adore the idea of giving someone a smile through such a simple gesture. On Friday I flew home for the weekend so I left several notes tucked into the seatbacks of my flight & scattered them all over an airport bathroom in Chicago. T'was ever so much fun!
Saturday: Clean out your fridge and pantry.
Given that I knew I'd be out of town over the weekend, I went ahead and reorganized my pantry & fridge on Friday afternoon. After we hosted Thanksgiving, I didn't realized how out of order all of our cooking supplies were! It makes sense though seeing as how four different guests were helping us cook, clean up and put everything away (which was amazing).
Sunday: Make a list of 20 things you're grateful for.

    I love fluffy socks too, haha. Reading all of the Elf for Health recaps is so fun! It's like I'm doing it, but without all the work ;)
