Last night, I indulged my inner pasta lover and whipped up a decadent creamy sauce for dinner. It's one of my favorite (and spicy!) cream sauces and we enjoyed it with a little rigatoni pasta...
1/2 c. butter
1 pkg. of cream cheese
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 c. milk
1/2 c. parmesan cheese
3 tsp. red pepper flakes
2 tsp. cayenne pepper
Melt the butter in a saucepan, then add cream cheese & garlic. Whisk until smooth. Slowly add the milk, a little at a time, then add parmesan and remaining spices. Stir together on medium heat until sauce reaches your desired thickness. Serve immediately & enjoy!

for breakfast I had a little bit of pineapple chobani heaven
my snacks throughout the day were roasted and salted pistachios & almonds
for lunch I tossed together a bowl of steamed broccoli & chicken
for a quick after-work meal I blended up a mixed berry & vanilla protein smoothie
