Focused Goals & Monday Meraki (#MM) no. 12

Hi darlins'! It's great to see ya here! I hope your weekends were marvelous :)

It felt so satisfying to complete the May Core Challenge last Friday, but now I'm even more pumped for the month to come -- The Bad Ass Beautiful challenge that I co-created with Sabrina over at Lit Laugh Love should prove to be an invigorating & fun way to kick off summer!

Speaking of our #InsideandOut challenge, I'm starting this week off by abstaining food with >5 ingredients on the label for the next 3 days (...this is going to be interesting). Day 1's breakfast was a plate of perfectly ripe raspberries and a 2-egg scramble with salt n' pepper.
Yum.

While traveling to Indiana over the weekend, I was rethinking my short-term Goals of the Moment and I've decided to rededicate myself to more specific goals:

Goals of the Moment

1. Drink at least 80 oz. of water every day.

2. No eating or drinking 2 hours before going to sleep (except for non-caffeinated tea & water).

3. Do at least 40 minutes of pure cardio activity on at least 5 days out of every week in June and July.

4. Complete at least 90% of the Bad Ass Beautiful challenge in June.

...and I know it's been a little while... (see previous post on creative ways to embrace your inner morning person)...but let's Meraki!

Over the last week, Matt and I have been working on a little decorating project. Thanks to a reclaimed window we were given from his Grandmother's old home in Indiana and some pretty nifty custom printing work, our kitchen now sports our very own view of the Nashville skyline...
We couldn't be happier with the finished product and I love the energy this self-made artwork brings to our home!
